Donates $2,000 to Hazel Green Food Project to
Support Thanksgiving Meals
December 09, 2024 – West Liberty, KY – The ARH Foundation for Healthier Communities is proud to announce a $2,000 donation to the Hazel Green Food Project, an organization dedicated to combating food insecurity in Morgan County and surrounding areas. This donation helped provide the necessary funding to complete the Thanksgiving food box distribution for local families in need.
The Hazel Green Food Project, led by founder Nicky Stacy, focuses on addressing food insecurity, ensuring no family goes without during the holidays. The ARH Foundation’s support enabled the organization to reach its goal of providing meals to families for Thanksgiving. Julie Rogers, a dedicated volunteer with the Hazel Green Food Project, was pictured receiving the donation on behalf of the organization from Allie Archer, CEO/CNO of Morgan County ARH .
