January 29, 2024 – Betsy Clemons is an ARH Foundation for Healthier Communities Board Member from Perry County that became involved with the board after working alongside Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) and the Foundation on initiatives to better the region.
“The ARH Foundation cares about the people in our communities and gives back to make sure our community members have access to quality medical care and the support that they need to improve their quality of life,” Betsy stated as she reflected on what she hopes people know about the ARH Foundation.
In her professional career, Betsy serves as the Executive Director of the Hazard Perry County Chamber of Commerce. She has been married for 27 years to Toddy Clemons and is a proud mother to 2 children (and a daughter-in-law) and a grandmother to 1 grandchild.
“I’m inspired by the ability to improve the lives of those in Eastern Kentucky and throughout Appalachia,” Betsy shared before continuing, “The ARH Foundation is a vital part of improving lives of the people we serve, as well as supporting our citizens, employees, and continuing to be a leader in healthcare for the people of Appalachia.”
In her free time, Betsy enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
