Lexington, KY –The Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) Leadership Academy is an intensive 12-month program aimed at developing and showcasing the skills of emerging leaders within the organization. The program focuses on helping participants address challenges specific to their healthcare specialty, examining broader system-wide issues, and developing strategies for resolution. The academy includes individuals who demonstrate strong leadership potential, initiative, and a desire to advance in their careers.
Participants will explore various leadership models and develop essential leadership skills as well as strategic thinking approaches. They will practice foundational skills, such as fostering a positive organizational culture and managing the dynamic landscape of healthcare while completing individual capstone projects.
“For the participant, the ARH Leadership Academy helps them develop skills and build their abilities to step into leadership roles. For ARH, we are reaping the benefit of keeping these talented individuals in our Eastern Kentucky and Southern West Virginia service areas where they can help make a difference for our patients, communities, and the employees they lead,” says Hollie Harris, President and CEO of ARH.
