ARH announces changes to its Disaster Relief Centers
HAZARD, Ky. – ARH continues to adapt its efforts to best assist those affected by the recent flooding that devastated much of eastern Kentucky.
As such, we would like to make the public aware of two changes at our ARH Disaster Relief Centers in South Williamson and Hazard.
Beginning Monday, April 21, supplies offered at the ARH Tug Valley Disaster Relief Center will move to the ARH Disaster Relief Center in Hazard. The final distribution day at the South Williamson location is Thursday, April 17.
As we move from meeting immediate needs to supporting long-term recovery, the Hazard Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) will no longer be open daily to the public. Instead, it will transition into a distribution hub for local and state partners, including Long-Term Recovery Groups, to continue providing support and resources to the community. For information on these long-term recovery resources and how to receive assistance, visit www.kychamber.com/2025stormrelief?_zs=SJONQ1&_zl=xcuj7.
Donations of cleaning supplies, tools and equipment for use in flood cleanup are still needed and can be dropped off at the Hazard DRC location at 414 Roy Campbell Drive in Hazard. Monetary donations can be made by visiting www.arh.org/donate.
ARH is thankful for the generous support of our community members, as their efforts help us assist our neighbors in times of crisis.
