ARH Disaster Relief Center in Hazard Temporarily Pausing Flood Relief Services to Relocate to New Location
HAZARD, KY, March 26, 2025 — The ARH Disaster Relief Center (DRC) will temporarily pause its flood relief services as it prepares to relocate to a new location in Hazard.
To facilitate the move, the ARH DRC located in the former JC Penney building on Black Gold Boulevard will close on Thursday, March 27, to allow staff and volunteers to relocate supplies and equipment to the new facility located at 414 Roy Campbell Drive, Hazard, KY, 41701.
The ARH DRC location on Roy Campbell Drive will reopen and resume flood relief services at this new location on Wednesday, April 3. Hours of operation will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The new location will allow the DRC to continue providing essential supplies and resources to those in need. In addition to immediate relief items, the DRC will also continue to offer long-term recovery supplies and assistance as residents begin to return to their homes or relocate to new housing.
ARH remains committed to supporting flood-impacted families and appreciates the community’s understanding and patience during this brief transition.
