ARH Home Services CEO Susan Stewart Chosen to Serve on National Accreditation Committee
October 02, 2023 – Susan Stewart, CEO of Appalachian Regional Healthcare’s Home Services operations throughout Eastern Kentucky and southern West Virginia, is one of just 11 individuals from across the country to be invited to serve on the Home Health and Hospice Partnership for Accreditation Quality (PAQ).
Each participant has been invited to serve on the PAQ because of their unique industry expertise and will actively share their experience and opinions regarding best practice as it relates to quality in home health and hospice agencies.
“It is an honor to be invited to serve on the PAQ so that ARH will have a voice at the table on so many very important issues facing our home services operations and to have the opportunity to learn best practices from the experiences of our peers from across the country,” Stewart says.
The PAQ is designed as a forum for discussing needs and concerns related to the effectiveness of existing ACHC programs and resources. It will provide sightlines to industry trends/regulatory shifts for all participants through open and transparent conversation and aims to identify areas of opportunity for program refinement and additional educational resources.
“Susan Stewart has always represented home services well in her tenure as leader and CEO. It fills me with great pride that she was chosen to not only represent home health, but our ARH organization as well,” says Susan Carmical, Vice President of Service Line Operations. “Quality has been the top priority for Susan and the ARH Home Services team. It is wonderful that this knowledge will be shared with others and enable ARH to impact national priorities.”
