Caleb Cobane has been named Vice President of Strategy Development and System Integration for the multi-hospital Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH)
system.
In this role, Cobane facilitates system planning and management. Working with staff at all levels of the organization, helping set and achieve goals, and maintaining fiscal responsibility are part of the broad spectrum of this role. Cobane will work to use the management system to continue making ARH the premier destination for quality care for its communities.

Cobane began his career in the healthcare industry in 2014 as a casemix information analyst for the Johns Hopkins Health System in Baltimore. He has served as a chief operating officer and other hospital administrative positions. Cobane has experience leading strategic planning and execution efforts in many branches of healthcare administration, including hospitals, healthcare systems, veterans affairs, and insurance.

Cobane is an army veteran and a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, where he obtained a degree in Health Administration with a concentration in informatics. After college, he received his master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health and is certified as both a Registered Health Information Administrator and Project Management Professional. Cobane has served on multiple leadership committees during his career and has taken an active interest in cultivating healthcare leaders of the future through oversight of multiple Administrative Fellowship programs and guest lecturing at the Johns Hopkins University MHA program.
Cobane is married to Alicia Cobane, a practicing CRNA. They have three children: Ané (7), Connor (5), and Colt (1). The Cobanes enjoy being active in their church community. Besides being a fishing family, they enjoy watching and playing sports, especially soccer, basketball, and Rugby.
