LEXINGTON, Ky. – Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) is pleased to announce Helen McDaniel has been named Director of Enterprise Resource Planning
(ERP) for the multi-state health system.
McDaniel has been an integral part of the ARH family for 10 years. A graduate of the 2024 ARH Leadership Academy, she has demonstrated a commitment to excellence, innovation, and service. In her most recent position as ARH Helpdesk Manager, she directed the day-to-day operations of the service desk, including planning, organizing, and overseeing helpdesk activities, ensuring that the team provided excellent customer service and met the organization’s needs.
Montie Hodge, ARH’s Chief Information Officer, says the Director of ERP position is essential in driving business Information Technology strategies that allow ARH to maintain its exceptional quality of care and to improve patient outcomes.
With a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from Midway College and 18 years of management experience, Hodge says McDaniel was a natural choice for the position and is well-equipped to lead ARH’s ERP initiatives. As Director of ERP, McDaniel will work to identify and deliver new services to meet cross-sector healthcare business requirements and oversee all ERP operational and technical processes, strategic planning, program execution, system operations, compliance support, and modernization initiatives.
