Johnson Named Director of Respiratory at Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center
February 27, 2023 – Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center has appointed a new Director of Respiratory Therapy, Brittany Johnson. Johnson has been a respiratory technician for over eleven years and been a part of the ARH team for ten years. Johnson brings with her a strong leadership style and clinical skills.
“Johnson has demonstrated leadership and strong clinical skills over the years and will continue to benefit the community in her new role as director. Her skills in critical care and before/after care of the surgical patient have helped Hazard ARH fulfill the mission of improving health and promoting the well-being of all people in Central Appalachia, in partnership with our communities,” says Lesley Wininger, Chief Nursing Officer at Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center.
Johnson is an Eastern Kentucky native and is married to Jeramy Johnson, who is also employed by ARH. “We have three wonderful children, ages 3-13 years and they keep us busy! I look forward to my new role as director and hope to continue to improve and grow the dynamic this department has.”
