Josh King Named ARH Vice President of Facilities Management
September 25, 2023 – Josh King, CHFM, has been named Vice President of Facilities Management for the multi-hospital Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) system.
King brings more than 20 years of facilities management expertise to the position, where he will be responsible for creating a standardized system approach in all ARH facilities. He will also help ARH reduce costs, manage real estate, and in the capital planning process for the system’s infrastructure.

King has extensive experience in facilities management across several different sectors. Prior to joining ARH, King held several facilities positions with Kaiser Permanente and most recently served as Regional Director of Facilities Services, overseeing the Operations and Capital Maintenance department, which services and supports a 4 million sq. ft. portfolio of medical and commercial facilities.
He is a Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) by the American Hospital Association, earned an HVAC Journeyman License from the Virginia Department of Professional & Occupational Regulation (DPOR), and a Universal CFC certification from the Pennsylvania College of Technology.
