LEXINGTON, Ky. – Appalachian Regional Healthcare has named Maggie Creech as Assistant Vice President of Employment Law.
A native of Elkhorn City, Ky., Creech began her career with ARH in the summers of 2014 and 2015, when she worked as a legal intern while attending law school at the University of Kentucky. She joined the ARH legal team full-time in May 2017 and was named associate council in October 2020.
ARH Chief Legal Officer Christi Lee said she looks forward to watching Creech grow into her new role.
“One goal of the ARH strategic plan is to develop and invest in our own people, and I have seen that plan in action as I have watched Maggie grow into an amazing leader,” she said. “We at ARH are so thankful she has committed her talents to the betterment of the people of Appalachia and we cannot wait to see the amazing things she will do in this newest chapter of her career.”
In her new role, Creech will continue her work in immigration law, contracts, and policy and procedure, but will now also manage employment law claims.
“I’m honored to receive this new position,” she said. “I’m very grateful for the opportunities ARH has given me in my career and I’m really excited to continue to grow within the organization.”
Creech, a member of the 2024 ARH Leadership Academy, resides in Hazard with her three cats, Nelly, Mordy and Woody.
