ARH Cumberland Valley Clinic Pharmacy to Open on October 19

The ARH Cumberland Valley Clinic Pharmacy will open on October 19 at the ARH Cumberland Valley Medical and Surgical Associates Clinic located at 3504 Cumberland Avenue in Middlesboro.

According to Dr. Shawnessy Horton, ARH Chief Pharmacist for the new pharmacy, ARH chose to open this new pharmacy for the convenience of their patients.

“The ARH Cumberland Valley Clinic has hundreds of patients who would prefer to pick up their medications after they see their healthcare provider,” said Dr. Horton.  “The new clinic pharmacy makes this possible. Their healthcare provider will e-script their medications to our pharmacy during their appointment. Our goal is to fill those prescriptions quickly, so they won’t have to wait.”

Dr. Horton explained that if there were a short delay, the ARH pharmacy team would bring them to their vehicle either while they waited or set up a free home delivery time.

“Our pharmacy team wants to make the process of getting your medications to you as easy as possible,” Dr. Horton added. “We are happy to transfer your prescriptions from other local pharmacies as well. It makes sense to use the clinic pharmacy where your healthcare provider can easily be reached when you need a refill.”

According to Dr. Horton, patients also can get their vaccines at the pharmacy. If you need a vaccine for flu, pneumonia, shingles, Hepatitis A, or other vaccines, call the ARH Cumberland Valley Clinic Pharmacy at 606.302.2024. The ARH Cumberland Valley Clinic Pharmacy will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
