Virtual Ribbon Cutting and Tour of Middlesboro ARH Cardiac Catheterization Lab
Middlesboro ARH Hospital and ARH Cardiology Associates invite you to join them for a Live Virtual Ribbon Cutting and Tour of their newly renovated Cardiac Catheterization Lab on Friday, February 12, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
“We are excited to offer the Tri-state community a state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab,” shared Michael Slusher, Middlesboro ARH Community CEO. “This service is necessary as Bell County residents are sicker than other residents in the Commonwealth. Bell Countians have heart disease related deaths at 1.5 times that of other Kentucky residents, and are 9% more likely to suffer from high blood pressure and 5% more likely to have diabetes. It’s important to offer these services locally to avoid the expense and time commitment associated with travel. We are also fortunate to have recruited quality physicians and cardiac catheterization staff to diagnosis, treat and heal our patients with heart disease.”
