Lunch & Learn: An ARH Women’s Health Series Set for April 14
Middlesboro ARH Hospital invites ladies in the community to its women’s health series called Lunch & Learn.
Lunch & Learn offers insight and tips on a variety of women’s health issues. On Thursday, April 14, Ashley Fultz, MSN, APRN, will give a presentation on “Autism Spectrum Disorder: A Mother’s Perspective.”
Fultz is an instructor of nursing at Lincoln Memorial University. She resides in Claiborne County with her husband, Chris, and two children, Madeline (8) and Noah (5). At the age of three, Noah was diagnosed with autism. The diagnosis was a life-changing event for their family.
During her presentation, Ashley will share both the challenges and joy that comes from raising a child with autism.
Adult women of all ages are invited to the Lunch & Learn series. The lunch will be held in the hospital classroom, which is located near the MRI entrance at the back of the hospital. Lunch will be served at noon with the program starting by 12:15 p.m. and ending at 12:45 p.m. There will be an opportunity to win a door prize.
Ladies, to reserve your lunch, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 606.242.1222. Due to limited seating, reservations are required.
