Areas of Eastern Kentucky and southern West Virginia have once again been devastated by catastrophic flooding, leaving families displaced and communities in urgent need of assistance. You can make a difference by donating essential supplies or making a financial contribution to support relief and recovery efforts.
Your help is critical in providing flood survivors with the basic necessities and cleanup tools they need to rebuild their lives.
Here’s How You Can Help:
Donate Emergency Supplies
We are accepting essential supplies to aid in cleanup and provide comfort to families impacted by the flooding. Please consider donating the following:
Cleanup & Recovery Supplies
- Bleach, disinfectants & detergents
- Heavy-duty garbage bags
- Buckets, mops & brooms
- Rakes & shovels
- Scrub brushes & sponges
- Work gloves & medical gloves
- Utility knives
- Shop vacuums
- Fans & Dehumidifiers
- Gas cans
- Mini camping stoves & 20 lb propane tanks
- Plastic totes & storage bins
Food & Water
- Bottled water (cases) & gallon jugs of water
- Ready-to-eat canned food (with pull tabs preferred)
- Non-perishable food items
- Pet food
Baby Care Items
- Baby formula
- Diapers (all sizes) & baby wipes
- Baby bath wash, diaper rash creams, & lotions
Personal & Household Essentials
- Paper plates, plastic cups & utensils
- Paper towels & toilet paper
- Flashlights & batteries
- Personal hygiene products (shampoo, body wash, hand soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc.)
- Heaters
- Sleeping Bags
New, Unused Warm Clothing & Bedding
- Coats, hats & mittens (all sizes)
- Blankets

Financial contributions to the ARH Foundation Relief Fund help provide immediate relief, including shelter, food, medical care, and long-term recovery efforts.

Supplies can be dropped off at the following location. All donations will be transported back to ARH’s distribution sites in Eastern Kentucky and Southern West Virginia.

Update: The ARH Disaster Relief Center at Highlands ARH will close on Friday, February 28, and all supplies will be relocated to a new center in South Williamson to better serve hard-hit and remote areas. This change is based on the evolving needs of the region after the flood and the availability of other active relief centers nearby.

Flood Relief Supply Pickup Process
We know this is a tough time, and we’re here to make getting the flood relief supplies you need as quick and easy as possible. Here’s how it works:
What to Expect:
- Check-In & Short Form – A friendly staff member will greet you and give you a quick form to fill out. This just helps us gather what you need—it’s not about eligibility.
- Stay Comfortable in Your Car – Once you fill out the form, you can relax in the warmth and comfort of your vehicle while we gather your supplies.
- Supply Availability & Substitutions– Supply availability depends on donations, so some items may have limits to make sure we can help as many people as possible. If we’re out of something, we’ll let you know and offer a similar item if we can. At some locations, we have designated areas to pick up certain supplies. If you need water, you may be directed to a special pickup area where our team will load it into your vehicle.
- We’ll Bring It to You – Once your supplies are ready, a staff member will bring them right to your car.
Many of the people helping are volunteers who care deeply about our community, and we’re so grateful for their time and effort.
